Fall/Spring 2017-2018, I was the lead coordinator of a social media marketing campaign for Choice Desserts, hosted here in Fargo. Because of my contribution and media skills, the event brought in a 32% increase of donors to the charity event.

Fall 2018, I completed nationally-recognized Human Research Training. Upon completion, I became certified to conduct interviews and surveys upon human subjects, thus expanding my bridging and networking skills.

Fall 2018, at the end of the semester, my classmates and I completed a book, based off the studies we conducted on the city of Moorhead, Minnesota. The book is a comprehensive analysis of the city, with a focus on its assets and networking, and how the city functions as a whole.

Spring 2019 Semester – I am proud to be a part of NAMA – National Agriculture Marketing Association, where my team and I were tasked with the complications of marketing and selling oat-based ice cream to specifically targeted populations on the West coast. Part of my contribution was writing up the five-page market plan, ensuring proper format, and hours of edit-work. In April, my team flew out to Kansas City, MO, to present our strategies to a panel of marketing judges, where, after several harrowing competitive rounds, we won the national title – a highly prestigious award.

Spring 2019 – Summer 2020, I am excited to be on the official board of the Community Development Society while planning for the Annual Conference, which will be held in Fargo, ND. As an international event, I will be gaining key skills and experiences as a member of the Publicity Sub-Committee and the Managing Sub-Committee.
